Dr. Alejandro Claros was born in Mexico City but has been living in the Yucatán since he was 14. Upon graduating medical school at the Anahuac-Mayab he went on to complete his ophthalmology residency, and specialized in cornea and refractive surgery at one of the most prestigious programs in the country, at the Hospital Conde de la Valenciana, I.A.P. in Mexico City.

Dr Claros has a private practice at Videre Eye Clinic in Altabrisa. He is currently writing his Master's dissertation for studies completed at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is devoted to his practice, but finds time to pursue his interests in cooking and science. He is proud to be on the BAI Board of Directors.
